The Defender Jacket is engineered to defend you from the elements — torrential rain, wind and dense bush are no match for it.

The jacket is made using Bushbuck’s Stormarc technology, a three-layer technical fabric that’s waterproof, windproof, breathable and durable. Stormarc is unique in that it’s highly effective at stopping water from getting in while also allowing heat and moisture out.

It has a 10,000mm waterproof rating and is 100% seam-sealed and DWR treated, making it about as waterproof as you’re ever going to need. 

The face fabric is what sets the Defender apart from standard waterproof jackets. The 500D Oxford Nylon outer layer is ultra-durable and can withstand plenty of punishment in the bush and on the farm. The inner lining is made from 40D polyester tricot mesh, which allows you to offload heat and moisture when the going gets tough.

It’s fully equipped with two waterproof chest pockets, an adjustable hood system, pit zips to dump heat, a dual-cuff sealing system to keep water from running up your arms, and silicone on the shoulders for extra grip for your rifle sling or pack.
